The Dashboard explained

All plansBeginner4 minutesUpdated August 8, 2026

The Dashboard is WorkZen's front page. It shows your key numbers (leads, clients, sales, unsent and overdue invoices), pending booking requests you can accept or reject, the newest unclaimed leads, and your upcoming visits. Every card links straight to the page where you act on it.

The Dashboard is the first page you land on, and it is built to answer one question: what needs my attention right now? Everything on it is live data, and every card links to the page where you act on it.

The stats cards

The top row shows four cards. Hover the info icon on any card for a plain-language description of what it counts.

CardWhat it showsView all leads to
Active LeadsLeads actively being pursued, plus how many are newLeads
Active ClientsClients in your systemClients
SalesRevenue from completed jobs, switchable by Today, Week, Month, YearStays on the card
Unsent InvoicesInvoices created but not yet sent, with their total valueInvoices

Click Show additional statistics to reveal four more: Unsent Estimates, Conversion Rate (leads converted to clients, with the change from last month), Overdue (invoices past their due date, linking to the overdue filter on Invoices), and Upcoming Visits (linking to the Scheduler).

On mobile, these cards collapse into a single expandable Statistics section to keep the page short.

Booking Requests

When a lead requests a visit through your booking page or website widget, it appears here with the requested date and time frame. Use the Actions menu on a row to Accept or Reject the request. Both options let you notify the client by email or text with an editable message, and accepting flows straight into scheduling the visit. Full details: handle booking requests.

New Leads

A compact list of the most recent leads waiting to be claimed, with their source and arrival date. Click a row to open the lead. When the list is empty, you are caught up. See claiming and managing leads for what to do with them.

Upcoming Visits

Your scheduled work, filterable by Today, 7 days, 14 days, or 30 days. If you can view the team schedule, a Team / Mine toggle switches between everyone's visits and just yours.

Tip

The Dashboard remembers your visit period and Team or Mine choice between sessions, so set it once the way you like to triage.

Who sees what

The Dashboard adapts to your permissions, so different roles see different modules.

ModuleRequired permission

Booking Requests and New LeadsView Leads
Team toggle on visitsView Team Schedule
Upcoming Visits (your own)Everyone

A technician without those permissions still gets a useful page: their own upcoming visits, front and center.

Frequently Asked Questions

The stats cards require the View Analytics permission. Technicians typically don't have it, so their dashboard starts at the visit list. Ask an admin if you think you should see more.
Revenue generated from completed jobs in the selected period. Switch between Today, Week, Month, and Year with the tabs on the card.
Yes. The Upcoming Visits time period and the Team or Mine choice are saved on your device, so the dashboard reopens the way you left it.
Booking Requests are leads who asked for a visit at a specific time and wait for your accept or reject. New Leads are the most recent leads that nobody has claimed yet.
The dashboard is a snapshot. For revenue, jobs, timesheets, and commission breakdowns, go to Reports.
