Handle Booking Requests From the Dashboard
Booking requests from your website widget appear in the Booking Requests card on the dashboard. Click Accept to confirm one, optionally notify the client by email or text, and schedule the visit; click Reject to decline while keeping the lead in your CRM.
When a client books online, the clock is already ticking. WorkZen surfaces every booking request on your dashboard so nothing gets lost between "submitted" and "scheduled".
Where booking requests come from
Booking requests are created by the booking form in your website widget. A visitor picks a service and a preferred time, and the request arrives in WorkZen as a lead with a pending visit request attached: name, contact details, the requested job type, and the requested time frame.
Which services a visitor can pick is up to you: only job types with Show in website widget turned on appear in the form. Manage that in Settings > Job Settings.
Review them on the dashboard
The Booking Requests card on the dashboard shows pending requests, earliest requested time first, each with the requested date and time frame. Click View all booking requests to open the full Bookings page with search, sorting, and date filters when the card is not enough.
Accept a request
Clicking Accept opens the Confirm booking request? modal:
- Optionally flip Notify client to send a confirmation. Choose email or text; WorkZen pre-writes a friendly message with the date, time, and your company name, and you can edit every word before it goes.
- Click Confirm booking (or Confirm & send email / Confirm & send text).
- The visit scheduling modal opens next, pre-loaded with the request, so you schedule the visit and assign the crew in the same breath. It lands on the Scheduler immediately.
Accepting also does the CRM housekeeping for you: the lead is claimed by you if it was unclaimed, marked as contacted, and gets a system comment recording who confirmed the visit and for when.
Reject a request
Clicking Reject opens the Reject booking request? modal. The same optional notification applies, with a pre-written "we can't make that time" message you can edit, sent by email or text. The lead stays in your CRM with all its details; only the appointment is declined.
Rejecting the time does not mean rejecting the client. The pre-written message invites them to call for another slot, and since the lead is still in WorkZen, you can follow up and book them properly.

Click Accept to confirm, or Reject to decline. Both open a modal where you can optionally notify the client by email or text with a pre-written, editable message.
